The automobile entrances for the Grant Park South Garage are on Michigan Avenue between Congress Parkway and Adams Street.
FROM THE SOUTH VIA I-55, The Dan Ryan(I-94) and LAKE SHORE DRIVE
Take I-55 East towards Chicago/Lake Michigan
or
Take the Dan Ryan I-94 North the the Lake Shore Drive/22nd Street Exit
or
Take Lake Shore Drive North bound and stay on it
Take the Lake Shore Drive North Exit unless you are on Lake Shore Drive
Proceed onto Lake Shore Drive passing Soldiers Field on your right-hand side
Merge to your LEFT just before Roosevelt Rd. and proceed onto Columbus Drive
Proceed down Columbus Drive to Congress Parkway
Take a (LEFT) on Congress Parkway and merge into the middle-right lane
Bear (RIGHT) around the semi-circle spur from the middle lane that turns into the middle-left lane to the intersection of Van Buren Street and Michigan Avenue
Veer (RIGHT) from the middle-left lane onto Michigan and immediately descend into the garage about 20 feet ahead in the center of Michigan Ave.
FROM THE SOUTH ON MICHIGAN AVE. OR FROM THE WEST ON CONGRESS
If you are coming from the South on Michigan and heading North, as soon as you pass Van Buren, head down into the parking garage that is in the center of Michigan Ave. If you are coming from the West and heading East on Congress, you cannot turn North on Michigan off of Congress. You need to continue East on Congress passing through Michigan for 25 yards, then turn LEFT (North) and the road takes you on a semi-circle spur around Michigan Avenue and brings you to the combined intersection of Van Buren and Michigan. Veer (RIGHT) from the middle-left lane onto Michigan and immediately descend into the garage about 20 feet ahead in the center of Michigan Ave.
FROM THE NORTH VIA I-94
Take the East Ohio Street Exit (Exit 50)
Stay straight to go to onto West Ohio Street
Turn (RIGHT) on North Fairbanks Court and proceed South
North Fairbanks Court becomes North Columbus Drive
Proceed Southbound on North Columbus Drive to East Randolph Street
Take a (RIGHT) on East Randolph Street
Merge into the left lane
Proceed to Michigan Avenue and make a (LEFT)
Take Michigan Avenue down about 4 blocks and proceed directly past Adams Street
The Garage entrance is located in the center of Michigan Avenue right past Adams Street.
This entrance is also an exit after 3:30pm. If you are heading southbound after 3:30pm, you will need to go to Congress and make a (LEFT), and use the semi-circle spur heading back to the intersection of Van Buren and Michigan. Veer (RIGHT) from the middle-left lane back onto Michigan and immediately descend into the garage about 20 feet ahead in the center of Michigan Ave.
FROM THE NORTH VIA LAKE SHORE DRIVE
Take Lake Shore Drive South to Monroe Street
Take a (RIGHT) on Monroe Street
Take a (LEFT) on Columbus Drive
Take a (RIGHT) on Congress Parkway and merge into the Right-middle lane
Bear (RIGHT) around the semi-circle spur that becomes the middle-left lane to the intersection of Van Buren St. and Michigan Avenue. Veer (RIGHT) from the middle-left lane onto Michigan and immediately descend into the garage about 20 feet ahead in the center of Michigan Ave.
ONCE INSIDE THE GARAGE
Once you get through the parking ticket turnstile, turn (RIGHT) and find the ramp to descend down three levels to the third floor. When you get to the third floor you have the choice of turning left or right. Turn (RIGHT) and go straight until you reach the wall, then turn (LEFT) until you reach the wall. That corner (the Jackson Street side) has the elevator/stairs that will bring you up to the sidewalk on Michigan Avenue directly in front of the Santa Fe building, 224 S. Michigan Ave. No security check-in during the day, take the first elevator bank on your right to the 6th floor. We are in Suite 620, which is to your left around the atrium.
