L.L.C. announces the recruitment of Werner Vetsch to the position of Chief
Operating Officer at Legal & General Investment Management.
Legal & General is
a premier investment management group headquartered in the UK and wholly owned
by a limited company on the London Stock Exchange. They are the largest
manager of UK pension fund assets and a leading manager of both Defined
Benefit and Defined Contribution assets providing both passive and active
investment styles. As the largest manager of UK occupational pension
scheme assets they have a unique combination of size, experience and pensions
knowledge. Investment strategies are offered through both pooled and
segregated fund management. The
U.S. Fixed Income team will manage U.K. and U.S. assets in a variety of fund
structures and styles. The operation is being built from scratch, thus
this person will be in on the ground floor. Prior to
joining Legal & General, Mr. Vetsch was the Sr. Vice President - Investment
Operations Outsourcing for Northern Trust.
