THE COMPANY

Our client is a well known and respected financial advisory firm with multiple locations in the U.S. Litigation consulting is part of their financial advisory consulting practice which also includes debtor, creditor and balance sheet restructuring, valuation, turnaround and interim management consulting.

THE POSITION

In these positions, you will work side by side with clients in managing day to day litigation assignments. A consulting/financial advisory background from a top tier consulting firm or big four public accounting firm, with an emphasis on litigation, fraud and/or forensic accounting is necessary. Specific responsibilities include:

• Actively manage assignments through-out the life cycle of the engagement including direction of staff, collaboration with clients and advising the senior partner on all outstanding issues
• Preparation of financial projections for a variety of purposes including evaluation of the viability of a business and its future financing requirements
• Research, interpret and summarize the application of legal, accounting and or regulatory standards
• Conduct financial investigation and analysis regarding litigation cases on a multiple of industries (generalist industry experience required versus a specialist)
• Develop complex financial models for the analysis of economic damages, business valuations and evaluation of business models
• Prepare expert reports, testimony and deposition to support disputes
• Actively participate in business development activities, writing of proposals and presentations

THE INDIVIDUAL

• 4-15 years of litigation, fraud and/or forensic accounting experience depending on position applied for
• Broad experience in all facets of litigation including investigative services, expert testimony and damage analysis
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong leadership abilities
• A team player who can excel in a fast paced and challenging environment
• Ambitious and motivated with the desire to succeed
• The ability to develop, build and maintain business relationships
• A high energy level with the ability to contribute to the ongoing success and expansion of the team
• Superior financial, analytical and modeling skills
• Ability to travel as needed
• MBA, CPA, CFA, CVA, CFF or CFE designations preferred
