THE POSITION
This role will report to the Financial Planning Manager and provide proactive guidance to High Net Worth clients and prospects, and support professionals firm-wide regarding all financial planning issues. This person will serve as an internal resource and assist with the creation of financial planning projections and models. Specific responsibilities include:
Provide personal financial analysis, counseling, and advisory services for clients in the following areas: cash flow planning, investment planning/asset allocation, income tax planning, risk protection/insurance, retirement planning and estate planning.
Provide regular financial plan maintenance which includes client reviews.
Respond to inquiries from professionals firm-wide regarding financial planning issues.
Provide research and analysis to the firm’s investment professionals and clients relating to financial and tax planning/portfolio management issues.
Assist in firm-wide new business development.
Participate in other projects as requested by management.
THE INDIVIDUAL
The ideal candidate is an experienced financial planner with superb poise and mature interpersonal skills. Candidates should possess the following:
The ability to develop financial plans both independently and in coordination with other advisors.
Outstanding analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills between investment advisors and other outside professionals.
A service oriented mentality and capable of independent thought.
The ability to manage expectations along with strong problem solving skills.
Proven ability to handle multiple, relevant, but not directly related projects simultaneously.
Team orientation with a strong commitment to excellence.
Highly productive, able to gather, assess and process operational information in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum of 10 years experience as a financial planner or investment related experience.
MBA, JD, CFA, CPA or CFP preferred.
Series 7 & 63 license required.
