THE INDIVIDUAL

This company wants to take a proactive approach in recruiting the top Nephrologists as Medical Directors- worldwide.  These individuals will be key drivers within the internal organization and externally to the Renal Medical Community.  The ideal candidate has the following:

• Significant experience in clinical practice as a Nephrologist (5-10 years for Medical Director, 2-3 years minimum for Associate Medical Director.)
• Extensive experience conducting research trials – he/she is on the cutting edge of medical advances within the Nephrology field
• Global experience
• Published and recognized in renal care, particularly peritoneal dialysis.

• Has experience dealing with Industry; trial design, and the fulfillment and communications of trial results.
• Works well with the science side as well as the commercial side; he/she realizes that it takes the integration of both to be successful.

• Excellent interpersonal skills; the ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment with a low ego. Able to assimilate into the Company’s Corporate culture.
• Medical Doctor, specialty – Nephrology.
