THE COMPANY
Located in the Midwest, this plastics company has multiple plants and is backed by a well-known private equity firm.
THE POSITION
The successful CEO will lead the company’s future growth, with emphasis placed on a balanced, yet ambitious combination of organic growth and selective acquisitions. In addition to leading the operations of the company, responsibilities of this position include:
· Provide worldwide leadership for all aspects of the company (internal and external).
· Profitably expand the company’s strong and/or growing market positions in Asia-Pacific, Europe, South America and USA/Canada.
· Integrate redundant manufacturing operations
· Develop and execute a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization. Specific priorities to include:
o Go-to-market strategy
o Worldwide manufacturing operations
o Organizational effectiveness
· Implement state-of-the-art practices to measure and drive company wide improvement in all operations, including:
o Sales and marketing effectiveness
o Financial metrics
o Production efficiency
o Quality
o Service
o Cost-effective management of resources
· Drive a team-based culture across the global operations of the company
· Identify attractive acquisition opportunities and manage related integration activities.
· Maintain awareness of external factors impacting business and calibrate internal priorities accordingly.

· Demonstrated success in general management leadership position(s) involving high degree of cultural and organizational change
o Previous experience as a CEO required
o Track record of success in effecting a change in culture and profitable business growth
· Relevant industry and/or market dynamics experience
o Processor/OEM dynamic
o Multiple distribution channels
o Supply side to the Plastic industry experience preferred
· Experience in managing international operations
o Asian and European experience required
o Unquestioned willingness and ability to travel internationally
· Financial acumen relevant to a Private Equity-sponsored environment
o Strong desire to invest
o Leveraged balance sheet implications
o Importance of cash flow
o Elements impacting exit valuation
· Experienced in working with Corporate Boards of Directors
