The Wealth Manager cultivates, manages and retains retail brokerage client relationships, serving as the main point of contact to clients and advising existing ones. The broker’s main focus is on business development to increase assets under management while maintaining the highest customer service and investment support to their clients. A thorough understanding of financial markets, asset allocation and investment products is required.
THE INDIVIDUAL
Candidates should have a hunter/new business development personality and an established referral network in the Chicago area. The ideal candidate has the ability to build deep and lasting relationships and credibility with a broad spectrum of clients. Additional requirements include:
A history of selling at least $300K in gross revenue or $35mm in assets under management.
Ideally has a portable book of business.
Superior communication and service mentality ensuring a continual client interaction that promotes trust and client retention.
Entrepreneurial spirit and strong desire to succeed.
Highly motivated with a solid work ethic and exceptional level of integrity.
Ability to work independently and be self directed, yet work as a member of a team.
An undergraduate degree is required; advanced degrees and certifications (CFA) strongly desired.
