THE COMPANY
This company is a leader in the medical device space. They market a leading, cutting edge cardiovascular product. The company has experienced aggressive growth and currently they are recruiting for a talented Product Manager to join their expanding marketing department.
THE POSITION
The new Product Manager will report to the Director of Product Marketing and will assist in the product marketing efforts on their core cardiology product.
Additional responsibilities include:
· Assist in management of the marketing and product efforts in conjunction with Director, Product Marketing.
· Support the development and execution of Market and Product strategies and tactical plans.
· Actively support the domestic selling efforts, including close collaboration with the field sales force.
· Participate in development of comprehensive marketing collateral based on clinical indication driven market segments, including design and execution of messaging, promotional materials, sales tools, and proof sources.
· Design and implement promotional programs to maximize impact of sales efforts.
· Foster relationships with key clinical individuals/organizations within the industry.
THE INDIVIDUAL
· Prior product management experience is preferred. Masters Degree or a minimum of 5-7 years of experience.
· Experience with sales and/or marketing in the medical device and cardiac arena of healthcare. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem solving skills; strong verbal and written communication skills. Well honed interpersonal and leadership skills are required.
· Able to work with limited resources with a roll up your sleeves mentality.
· Ability to interpret and convey clinical data to field sales and external customers.
· Independent thinking and a high level of initiative with the ability to interact well with physicians, customers and key opinion leaders are essential.
· Must be an effective team player with the ability to work in a fast paced, high visibility environment.
