THE COMPANY
This company is a pioneer in online construction payment management, providing a broad base of innovative capabilities that automate the entire construction payment process. Their services facilitate communication, automate document creation, provide online document exchange, and enable direct electronic payment. These services dramatically help general contractors, subcontractors, owners, developers and lenders effectively manage cash flow and risk while reducing costs. The company is backed by two prestigious private equity funds and there is tremendous momentum behind their “first-mover” advantage and “disruptive” system.
THE POSITION
The company seeks candidates for short-term rotating assignments overseas (18-24 months). The immediate need is in Abu Dhabi, where construction is booming. Ideal candidates are individuals with strong project management capability, ideally from the ERP consulting industry or the software implementation industry. Real estate / construction is also a possibility. The SCIM must have the ability to grow an account and facilitate the successful roll-out of the system across multiple regions and offices for each major account. Since it is not a highly technical implementation, the emphasis is on project management skills versus application skills.
SCIMs will focus on leading and developing regional teams in the support, training, and implementation of large and small Real Estate Developers, General Contractors, and their Subcontractors in the use of the system. This role will perform all customer management leadership activities, including:
Facilitating clients’ adoption and use of the system, from bringing initial projects on-line to delivering customer training and providing ongoing client support.
Collaborating with clients to optimize their processes using the system.
Mastering the capabilities of the system and advising customers on how to most effectively use it, including modifying customers’ existing processes and procedures.
Establishing and refining the set of best-practices for regional teams. Identifying opportunities to improve the system.
Working with team members to define, prioritize, and implement selected enhancements.
Making key customer management decisions regarding processes, service enhancements, and support.
Mentoring and developing less experienced team members.

Experience implementing accounting and financial software applications, internet functionality, interface conversion awareness, and reporting capabilities.
Demonstrated success in managing customer process and software implementations, including process selling, requirements identification and definition, user training and on-boarding, and implantation support.
Experience in troubleshooting in customer environment.
Ability to travel (40% - 80%) as you work directly with customers across various offices.
MBA (not required, but ideal).
