JOB SUMMARY

 

Candidate will direct activities and initiatives in support of coverage, coding and reimbursement, including strategic decision-making, environmental analysis, brand planning, budget and execution of access tactics.  This role will include cross-BU matrix coordination including the Global Government Affairs (GGA), Corporate Accounts, Global Health Economics (GHE), Legal, Regulatory and others as required.  This role will drive both strategic and tactical oversight of activities, executive level facilitation, management of extensive external relationships, oversight of market research initiatives and consultancy management.

REQUIREMENTS

8+ years in biotech or pharmaceutical sales; marketing; strategic planning; reimbursement and policy experience; a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Pharmacy or a Masters’ degree in Business Administration, Public Health or Public Policy; collaboration through work teams; excellent interpersonal skills/strong communication skills; ability to effectively lead/influence cross-functional teams; extensive functional knowledge of the payer environment, including Medicare (Part B and Part D) and commercial; ability to leverage multiple points of influence which include: patient, payer and policy; project management experience; proven ability to interact with key customers at the executive level; and proven leadership and business results, demonstrated strategic planning problem solving skills and creative thinking, brand planning and agency management as well as the ability to effectively build internal and external networks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop brand strategy for commercial and public payers, and tactics to support patient access
• Develop one- and three-year strategic access plan; Access lead for annual brand planning and forecasting processes
• Drive field sales message and resources related to access and reimbursement, including:

-     Development of tools and messaging for field sales force

-     Triage/resolve sales force questions/issues related to access and reimbursement

-     Coordinate with Training & Development specific for sales force training material and competencies

• Develop and integrate value proposition with overall brand strategy
• Drive the strategic brand planning process for matrix partners that include: Corporate Accounts, Global Government Affairs (GGA), Global Health Outcomes (GHE) and Business Analysis and Information (BAI) specific to access
• Support all regulatory, policy and legislative initiatives through GGA specific to this product
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and track all access POA goals and dashboard activities
• Develop workshop and content materials for access and reimbursement portion of POA meetings
