THE COMPANY

Our client is a diversified financial services firm with offices across the country and in the United Kingdom.  Their investment services division houses brokers/dealers and investment advisors, institutional sales and trading and investment brokerage. MBS is part of their institutional sales and trading group. The company is growing and the MBS practice is headed by a distinguished veteran in the industry. This firm has multiple openings and current needs are in San Francisco, Chicago and NYC

 

THE POSITION

A generalist CMBS sales leader will be responsible for building relationships within the residential mortgage backed securities industry. Specific qualifications include:

• Fixed Income Products
• Experience with single family residential
• Non-agency business base
• Asset Backed Securities
• Sub Prime Market
• Small presence in auto and credit cards

 

THE INDIVIDUAL

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a proven history in opening and maintaining client accounts. Our ideal candidates will have an established book of business. Core competencies include:

• Ability to bring relationships with clients

• Excellent sales abilities

• Middle market experience is the best fit

• Ideal west coast relationships include TCW, WAMCO, Pimco

• Covering banks is key
