Paul
W. Schmidt is a Partner at Martin Partners LLC headquartered in Chicago,
Illinois. Mr. Schmidt’s primary experience is building senior management
teams for industrial and consumer product manufacturing companies, with a
special emphasis on private equity funded buyouts and closely held businesses.
He has recruited most C-level positions including, chief
executive officers, chief operating officers, chief financial officers, senior
worldwide product supply executives, senior vice presidents of marketing,
senior vice presidents of sales, executive vice presidents of administration,
chief technology officers, chief procurement officers, and senior vice
presidents of strategy.
Prior to joining Martin Partners, Mr. Schmidt was with leading executive search firms such as A.T. Kearney Executive Search and Korn/Ferry International. He also held various senior marketing, sales and strategy positions with Beatrice Foods Co., and Baxter Laboratories, and Exxon Corporation.
Mr. Schmidt holds an undergraduate degree in Applied Mechanics and a Masters in Business from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He and his family reside in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
